Account Manager – Commercial Finance | Norway

DLL is looking for a strategic and results-driven Account Manager to join our Nordic Commercial Finance team. In this role, you will be based in Norway, supporting growth and relationship management with new and existing customers. We offer B2B financing solutions between manufacturers, distributors and dealers who benefit from tailored solutions that enable improved financial flexibility matching product seasonality and inventory turn, increased credit capacity and strengthen purchasing power. 

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key partners, including manufacturers, distributors and dealers, supporting them in offering financing for a wide range of equipment. You will drive both account development and new business acquisition, with a strong focus on growing new customer relationships. 

Success in this role demands a consultative approach, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate deals through DLL’s internal approval processes. You’ll work closely with departments such as credit, operations, legal and marketing to ensure alignment and timely execution, while maintaining a high standard of service for our partners.

Day to day:

  • Build and grow relationships with manufacturers and distributors in Norway, mainly within agriculture, construction, industrial equipment, and recreational vehicles.
  • Manage a portfolio of partners by creating account plans, following up on sales pipelines, and keeping forecasts updated.
  • Find and onboard new partners and their dealer networks, and make sure dealers feel supported and informed.
  • Keep track of market trends and spot new business opportunities that can help us grow.
  • Help structure and negotiate financing solutions that fit the needs of our partners and customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as credit, legal, and risk to move deals forward.
  • Train and support partners so they feel confident using our financing tools and understand our value proposition.
  • Build a strong internal network to ensure smooth collaboration and quick responses to new developments.

Essentials:

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • Previous experience within sales, preferably with a background in financial services, such as trade finance, floorplan finance and/or leasing. Experience from financing in sectors of agriculture, construction, industrial or recreational is a plus. 
  • University degree (bachelor’s or higher)
  • Fluent language skills in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken. Other Nordic language skills are a plus.

You are a commercially driven professional with a consultative approach and experience managing B2B sales processes. You enjoy working strategically, building strong relationships, and creating solution‑based offerings that meet customer needs.

You bring energy, respect, and a collaborative mindset to your work. You have experience handling sales that involve several internal stakeholders and feel confident interpreting financial information and assessing risk. You work independently, take initiative, and communicate clearly. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to structure effective financing solutions are key strengths you bring to the role.

This position is based in Lysaker, with close collaboration across DLL’s Nordic commercial and support teams mainly based in Stockholm.
