
Job Title: Legal Event Scheduler
Job Description:
• Ensure effective and timely coordination of key procedural events in PIP litigation cases.
• Organize and confirm depositions, hearings, mediations, conference calls, and meetings among attorneys, clients, and opposing parties.
• Keep all parties informed and maintain an up-to-date legal calendar free of conflicts or scheduling errors.
Responsibilities:
• Begin coordination upon notification from a paralegal regarding a legal event.
• Contact opposing counsel at least three times to propose dates.
• Follow specific protocols if no response is received, depending on the assigned judge (e.g., use "uniset" with judges Mollica and Hurley, or request a "MTC depo" for Angione and Deluca).
• Confirm dates, schedule activities, and add them to the appropriate calendar, including case management conferences (CMC) and court-set hearings.
• Cancel events when requested by the attorney.
• Upload relevant documents such as hearing notices or mediation orders to the case file system.
• Maintain strict attention to detail, rigorous follow-up, and constant communication to avoid delays or conflicts in the legal process.
Requirements:
• Minimum 6 months experience as a CSR in a BPO or call center.
• Quick learning ability and eagerness to improve.
• English proficiency at B2+ or C1 level preferred.
• Must live in Medellín.
• 100% on-site work.
