Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
About the Role: We are seeking a LEED Consultant to lead sustainability initiatives and ensure compliance with green building standards. This role includes developing certification strategies, reviewing technical documentation, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance, environmentally responsible projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement LEED v4.1 certification strategies (Silver, Gold, Platinum) aligned with project requirements, budget, and timeline.
• Ensure readiness for LEED v5 certification within six months.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design and construction meet LEED criteria.
• Review and validate design and technical documents such as architectural plans, MEP systems, materials, and performance reports for compliance.
• Conduct energy modeling and performance analysis to support certification and optimize building efficiency.
• Perform commissioning site visits to verify building systems operate as designed and meet LEED requirements.
• Assess environmental documentation from vendors and contractors (product datasheets, EPDs, FSC certificates, VOC content).
• Stay current with green building technologies and integrate AI and data-driven workflows to enhance project efficiency.
Professional Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Engineering, Building Sciences, or related field.
• LEED AP ID+C accreditation preferred; LEED Green Associate accepted.
• 3–5 years of experience with LEED v4.1 and knowledge of LEED v5.
• Hands-on experience with Commissioning (Cx); Commissioning Agent (CxA) is a plus.
• Experience with energy modeling tools like DesignBuilder.
• Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and technical documentation (HVAC, lighting, finishes, MEP).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish or Italian is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and remotely within international, multidisciplinary teams.
