
We are seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Case Manager to support the management of U.S.-based workers' compensation and personal injury cases from inception to settlement. The ideal candidate is fully bilingual (English/Spanish), possesses strong analytical skills for medical record review, and has experience collaborating with legal and medical teams. This role is critical in ensuring our clients receive the care and legal support they need while navigating the California labor system.
Key Responsibilities
Case Lifecycle Management: Manage a portfolio of U.S. workers' compensation and injury cases, ensuring thorough documentation and timely follow-ups.
Medical Record Analysis: Review and summarize medical records to identify key information relevant to the legal strategy.
Coordination & Communication: Act as a liaison between clients, medical providers, expert witnesses (QME/AME), and legal counsel.
Compliance: Monitor and adhere to legal deadlines and procedural requirements specific to the California Workers' Compensation system.
Data Integrity: Accurately input and maintain case updates within the internal case management system.
Client Relations: Provide empathetic and clear communication to Spanish-speaking clients, explaining complex processes in simple terms.
Requirements
Experience: At least 1 year of experience in workers' compensation, personal injury claims, or legal case management (U.S. experience preferred).
Equivalent Experience: Candidates with experience in occupational hazards, labor accidents, or social security systems in Mexico or Latin America are encouraged to apply.
Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) is mandatory.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field (preferred).
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with processes such as AOE/COE, UR/IMR, PD Ratings, and settlement agreements.
Soft Skills: High organizational capacity, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Availability: Must be able to work 100% On-site.
Schedule & Location
Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (PST)
Location (On-site): Mexico, Argentina, Guatemala, Honduras, or Peru.
