About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for supporting the full accounts payable function, ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and consistent maintenance of financial records. The AP Specialist is essential to maintaining strong vendor relationships and supporting key monthly close activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and review vendor invoices accurately and on time
• Match invoices against purchase orders and receiving documents
• Ensure compliance with company policies and established accounting standards
• Prepare and process payments via ACH, wire transfer, or check
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly
• Communicate with vendors to address invoice or payment-related inquiries
• Maintain organized, accurate, and up-to-date accounts payable records
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Support internal and external audits as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or documentation issues
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting systems or ERPs (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• English level B2+/C1 (90%) required
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in fast-paced or high-volume AP environments
• Previous participation in month-end close processes
• Familiarity with multi-entity or multi-currency environments
• Experience working with shared services or global teams
