
Accountant (On‑Site)
Location: On‑site Position: Full‑time
We are looking for an Accountant to join our team and support core financial operations. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong accounting fundamentals, hands‑on close experience, and the ability to analyze financial data accurately. You will play a key role in month‑end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial analysis, working closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare, record, and post journal entries related to daily cash activity and bank reconciliations.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and review supporting documentation.
• Conduct month‑over‑month variance and fluctuation analysis for income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, including prepaids and fixed asset depreciation.
• Collaborate with Payments Operations and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare accounting workpapers for audits.
• Assist in documenting accounting processes and strengthening internal controls.
• Identify and suggest improvements to reporting and general ledger processes.
Required Qualifications (Must‑Have)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• English level C1 (required).
• 2+ years of hands‑on accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with ERP systems (SAGE100 or similar).
• Background in Consumer Financial Services, Fintech, or Employee Benefits.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Exposure to corporate or business unit accounting processes.
