Join us in shaping the future of digital advertising and marketplace interactions.</p> <p>To learn more about Discord Engineering, take a look at our&nbsp;<a href="https://blog.discord.com/tagged/engineering">engineering blog!</a></p> <p><strong>What You'll Be Doing</strong></p> <ul> <li>Build a platform that enable advertisers and operations teams to manage their ad campaigns</li> <li>Build new ads products from the backend to the frontend that deliver direct value to users through rewards</li> <li>Make architectural improvements to improve the long term maintenance of our products and systems</li> <li>Collaborate with engineers, product managers and designers to create delightful products that people love</li> <li>Work with our analytics and experimentation frameworks to help optimize our ads products</li> <li>Stay up-to-date on the latest industry technologies</li> </ul> <p><strong>What you should have</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Strive for excellence mentality.</strong>&nbsp;You believe in solving a problem completely rather than simply shipping a solution. You challenge yourself and those around you to continuously improve.</li> <li><strong>2-4 years of experience,</strong> working with similar technologies.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Points</strong></p> <ul> <li>Hands on experience with Typescript, React, Python and/or Rust, React Native</li> <li>Familiarity with experimentation tooling and analysis</li> <li>Contributions to open-source projects</li> <li>Interest or passion for the Discord platform</li> </ul> <p><span class="notion-enable-hover" data-token-index="0">Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area (Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma counties). Relocation assistance may be available.</span></p> <p><em>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $180,000 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
