About the School

NFLS British Columbia Academy (NFLS-BCA) was founded in 2002 and provides secondary education as a Canadian offshore high school in China. The school is accredited by Canada’s British Columbia Ministry of Education and by the Jiangsu Ministry of Education. British Columbia Academy at NFLS has earned and maintained a very strong reputation. This is due to the high academic achievement of NFLS-BCA students and the successful placement of previous NFLS-BCA graduates into top universities in Canada and elsewhere.

The Opportunity

Dipont Education invites applications for a teacher of AP Physics. The successful candidate will teach AP Physics 1, an algebra-based introductory physics course aligned with College Board standards: Within the British Columbia system, AP Physics 1 is considered comparable to a Grade 11 Physics course. This position is suited to a teacher who is academically strong, comfortable with rigorous content, and able to support students pursuing competitive university pathways.

We are looking for a teacher who is:

• British Columbia Certificate of Qualification (CoQ)

• Completion of a recognised teacher education programme, including a supervised practicum

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in General Science or Physics

• At least two years of teaching experience in secondary science education

• Experience teaching physics at the senior secondary level (AP experience strongly preferred)
