The Opportunity

We are seeking a Chinese teacher to join our high school program at Suzhou Experimental High School. You will teach Chinese at High School level and be a key member of the teaching team on this extremely successful international high school program. Students in the center seek to gain entry at top universities overseas and are generally exceptionally motivated and high-achieving. You will focus on developing their application of learning and critical thinking skills in order to prepare them as thoroughly as possible for university abroad.

About You

We are looking for a teacher who will:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons, ensuring that students develop a deep understanding of the subject matter.

• Operate as a homeroom teacher managing the wellbeing of the students within that group.

• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their growth and progress.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Chinese program, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

• Participate in school-wide events and activities, contributing to the overall development of students and the school community.
