Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Media Buying to lead the media buying team for a rapidly growing and innovative crypto gambling company. As the Head of Media Buying, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing digital media buying strategies across various channels. You will play a pivotal role in driving user acquisition, increasing brand awareness, and maximizing ROI through targeted advertising campaigns in the crypto and gambling space.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Design and implement media buying strategies across multiple platforms (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, programmatic, native advertising, influencers, etc.) to meet acquisition and brand awareness goals for both existing and new markets.
- Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and mentor a team of digital marketing professionals to achieve campaign goals and optimize media spend.
- Campaign Execution & Optimization: Oversee the end-to-end execution of media buying campaigns, including planning, execution, A/B testing, and optimization to ensure maximum performance and efficiency.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate budgets across campaigns and platforms to maximize return on investment (ROI). Track, analyze, and report on budget spend to ensure effective use of resources.
- Performance Analysis: Use analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance, including cost per acquisition (CPA), return on ad spend (ROAS), and lifetime value (LTV) metrics.
- Market Research & Trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and emerging media buying strategies, particularly in the crypto and gambling vertical, to ensure the company’s campaigns remain competitive and innovative.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including the Data
and Product teams to ensure alignment on campaign goals, audience targeting, and messaging.
- Compliance & Regulations: Ensure all media buying activities comply with industry regulations, platform policies, and gambling laws, particularly as it pertains to crypto-based betting.
- Reporting & Insights: Provide regular performance reports to senior management, offering actionable insights and recommendations for campaign improvements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in media buying, digital marketing, or performance marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the crypto, gambling, and iGaming industries. Experience with digital advertising in the regulated gambling market is highly preferred.
- Expertise in Media Buying: Proven expertise in managing large-scale media buying campaigns across multiple digital platforms, including paid search, display, programmatic advertising, social media, and influencers.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with experience in using analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, programmatic platforms, etc.) to analyze campaign performance and optimize results.
- Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of media buyers, fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.
- Compliance Awareness: In-depth knowledge of regulations surrounding digital marketing in the crypto and gambling sectors, including age restrictions, geographic restrictions, and platform policies.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with media buying tools, bid management platforms, and tracking software (e.g., Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, The Trade Desk, etc.).
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Crypto and Gambling Industry Experience: Prior experience working in a media buying role in a crypto gambling or gaming company is highly preferred.
- Global Perspective: Experience in managing global or regional campaigns, especially in markets with varying regulations and cultural sensitivitie
