About the Function-
Our Supply Chain and Manufacturing team are problem-solvers, sourcing, producing, and delivering our much-loved brands to delight customers around the globe. Over half of Diageo’s 30,000+ people work in Supply Chain and Manufacturing. Experience :
Qualifications:
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)
Implement and sustain OHS management systems aligned with global and local standards.
Support Control of Work (COW) activities including PTW, LOTO, working at height, confined space, Hot work, and contractor safety
Conduct and facilitate HIRA, HAZOP, and job safety analysis for bottling, packaging, utilities, and warehousing operations.
Lead incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and CAPA closure for PSI, PSP, Near Miss, First Aid Case and recordable incidents
Drive proactive safety culture through toolbox talks, safety meetings, safety walks, and leadership engagement.
facilitate monthly safety committee meetings to discuss EHS leading and lagging indicators for assessing the EHS trends and implementing corrective actions to improve workplace EHS standards
Track and improve safety KPIs including SIRC, SBOs, TRIR, near-miss reporting, and audit closure.
Timely closure of audits, GSAs, and GRMS actions
Actively support and pilot upcoming EHS Digital projects
EHS executive act as a contributor /owner Digital EHS Systems.
Environmental Management
Monitor environmental performance including water, energy, waste, effluents, emissions, and chemical usage.
Ensure compliance with environmental consents, authorizations, and regulatory limits.
Support Aspect–Impact assessments and drive reduction programs for environmental footprint.
Contribute to initiatives focused on resource efficiency, waste minimization, and environmental footprint reduction
Support sustainability initiatives aligned with resource efficiency, waste reduction, and circularity
Collate, validate, and submit BRSR, Environmental metrics, and sustainability data through approved digital tools
Participate in ESG audits, internal reviews, and improvement programs.
Support EHS governance, reporting, and control assessments in line with corporate sustainability strategy.
Audits, Reviews & Compliance
Support internal, external, and regulatory audits (EHS, ESG, Global Audit).
Ensure 100% compliance to statutory EHS requirements.
Track audit findings, ensure timely CAPA closure, and prevent recurrence.
Support Safety Reviews, Management Reviews, and Governance Meetings
