DGR’s Water Services department is located in Rock Rapids, Iowa, just 30 miles east of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and specializes in the planning and design of infrastructure improvements for water and wastewater utilities in the upper Midwest. Our typical projects include water and wastewater treatment facilities, transmission pipelines, collection systems, pump stations and storage facilities for municipalities, rural water systems and industrial clients. We are seeking a Field / Design technician with relevant experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with the construction of water and wastewater systems and possess skills to work independently, interpret construction documents, and review contractors work in the field for compliance with the construction documents. Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting programs is preferred.  Duties will include field construction, observation, office design and drafting tasks. Overnight travel in the tri-state area will be required.
