Meet the team:

If you want to work with an energetic and dynamic team of tax and treasury professionals at a fast-growing medical device company in Manila, this is the job for you! We are looking for a Lead Tax Accountant to join our Tax team. Reporting to the Senior Manager of APAC Tax, you will support key areas of corporate income taxation, including compliance, provision preparation, planning, audit defense, and transfer pricing for various countries such as the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, India, Australia, and New Zealand (specific country assignments will be determined accordingly).

Where you come in:

  • Support the preparation and review corporate income tax filings along with monthly/quarterly estimated payments in advance of all due dates
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare documentation and conduct interviews to support corporate income tax, provision preparation and transfer pricing
  • Support in the preparation of the quarterly and year-end tax provision and information requests for the provision team
  • Prepare/review documentation to support audit inquiries from tax authorities and internal/external auditors
  • Prepare/review compliance documentation and calculations related to tax incentives
  • Monitor and report on changes in tax legislation
  • Prepare/review technical memos
  • Prepare and analyze tax account reconciliations
  • Assist in tax planning, M&A, and group financing activities in support of the global finance organization
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across the Company
  • Display a continuous improvement mindset and make suggestions for ways we can work more productively and efficiently
  • Additional duties as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements:

  •  Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience. 
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience
