Job Description

Dewberry is seeking a Transportation/Roadway Project Manager for our Atlanta, GA office—an excellent opportunity to join a top ENR-ranked transportation design firm and take the next step in your career.

 

Our team is in growth mode, and we’re looking for an experienced roadway design engineer ready to serve as our technical lead and assume project management responsibilities. In this position, you’ll collaborate with a talented team and an experienced Georgia Transportation Leader to drive the expansion of our transportation design practice in Georgia, backed by the resources of a national transportation network.

Responsibilities

  • Roadway design technical leadership.
  • Design phase oversight and project management.
  • Development and monitoring of project budgets and schedules.
  • Collaboration with team members on  marketing new projects.
  • Interfacing with clients through project meetings, pursuit meetings, and professional society involvement.
  • Collaborating with other Dewberry offices on design and design-build projects.

Required Skills & Required Experience

  • BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in roadway design, preferably in Georgia.
  • GA PE license, or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • ORD and MicroStation expertise.
  • GDOT and Georgia local government experience.
  • Task management or project management experience.
  • GDOT Plan Development Process certification.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
