Description

The pay for this position starts at $22.00/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $25.58/hour.

The schedule for this position in Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional nights & weekends, and flexibility to accomodate these extended hours.

This position is located in Woburn, MA with potential flexibility.

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health – Massachusetts and Rhode Island is a nationally recognized organization dedicated to helping children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Based in Central Massachusetts, our programs and services make a difference in the lives of individuals and their families, offering hope, healing, and comprehensive behavioral health support.

 

We are looking for a passionate Foster Care Recruiter/Program Coordinator. This position is responsible for the recruitment, assessment, selection, pre-service training, licensing, and re-licensing of therapeutic foster homes. The candidate must be bilingual in both English and Spanish and be familiar with the foster care system in Massachusetts. This person must understand procedures and programs, and have a good knowledge of case management. This candidate will need to recruit foster families, keep the homes up to code, help with relicsensing, and do home visits and documentation. We are looking for a candidate who can build rapport with the children and families, and has a compassionate and understanding nature.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record required
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services related field required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required
  • At least two (2) years of related experience with children and families required
  • Virtual Gateway knowledge preferred
  • Must have valid Social Work license, or obtain within 6 months of hire (minimal level is LSWA)  
  • Must be able to attend new hire paid orientation, Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA
