The Detroit Athletic Club is searching for a qualified candidate to join the Engineering team.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment and building systems.
Functions Equipment set-ups as needed.
Preventative Maintenance tasks (PM's)
Ability to log all work assigned and completed in computerized maintenance management system.
Able to perform mechanical systems and pool water testing
Consistently maintain DAC engineering department high maintenance and repair standards. Other Duties as required.
QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
3rd Class Refrigeration Operator's License
Minimum of City of Detroit Low Pressure Boiler Operator's license
HVAC / Refrigeration Technician Certificate, Valid License and Field Experience
Previous building maintenance experience
Basic computer skills, experience with building automation systems and computerized maintenance management systems.
Proven ability to work in a team environment (within Engineering team and throughout the club)
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum 3 years work experience
High school diploma required, courses in HVAC preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, stand and lift to 40 pounds.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
