About this role

As a legal and regulatory compliance analyst, you help design, institute and coordinate the compliance framework and enforce related rules. You help ensure that oversight measures such as officer and employee behaviours comply with the organization’s standards (including those related to money laundering). You analyze issues related to your field. You support the most experienced professionals in your unit and help prepare opinions and implementation plans in accordance with your discipline’s rules. You conduct research and preliminary analysis and develop initial outlines of tools and processes drawing on your extensive knowledge of your line of business and your ability to manage complexity. You interact with stakeholders working in other fields. You assist clients and partners. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to inform management decision-making. Monitor the application of management policies and practices.

  • Analyze risks, prepare reports and help implement compliance, anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing recommendations.

  • Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters.

  • Help develop and optimize procedures and implement tools.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience

  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

  • Knowledge of French is required
