Legal Aid NSW delivers accessible legal services across criminal, family and civil law. We provide advice, court representation, and family dispute resolution through 28 offices and phone-based support, helping people navigate the legal system with confidence and fairness.
About the role
As a Financial Accountant at Legal Aid NSW, you’ll play a pivotal role in strengthening the organisation’s financial operations and supporting its mission to deliver vital legal services to the community. This is a dynamic position where your expertise will drive process improvements, ensure the integrity of financial systems, and guide a dedicated team through change and growth.
You’ll lead finance‑related projects that enhance business practices, oversee end‑to‑end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, and manage key processes such as debt recovery, banking, and trust account compliance. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency, transparency and reliability of Legal Aid NSW’s financial operations.
