About Us
Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Justice sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported.
About the role
In this role you would be required to assist in undertaking a variety of recognised correctional administrative tasks within the areas of general administration, including providing administrative assistance to identified staff members, support for inmate records, purchasing, records management and customer service ensuring the team is supported in accordance with the directions provided by your Manager. In this role there will be face to face contact with Offenders in a controlled environment.
As a highly motivated and results driven Assistant Centre Administration Support Officer, you will always maintain confidentiality, you require high attention to detail and accuracy, provision of excellent customer service, and the ability to work under pressure. You should have a positive “can do” attitude with the ability to work within a team environment.
