We're located in sunny Barcelona, Spain, around 20/30 mins away from the beach, and we're hiring numerous QA Engineers to integrate into our growing agile teams.

Job Description 

As part of your daily work you will: 

  • Be part of a software development team, responsible for ensuring high standards of product quality. 

  • Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle (from analysis to delivery). 

  • Design, develop and execute automated tests to suppot new functionality or changes to existing feature sets. 

  • Identify potential quality risks.  

  • Analyse test results, clearly report defects and collaborate with the team to ensure timely resolution. 

  • Take accountable for delivering a valuable increments to the business in every sprint.  

  • Contribute to continuous improvements of the team’s processes, and ways of working 

  • Collaborate closely  with onshore and offshore colleagues on a day-to-day basis. 

  • Work within an Agile development environment. 

Qualifications 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Technical background (Degree in software engineering, computer science or engineering telecommunications). 

  • Experience with Java/J2EE (1+/2+ years) and relational databases. 

  • Exposure to automated testing; experience with BDD, Cucumber, Selenium and Postman will be a huge advantage. 

  • Deep understanding of the best practices in creating system test scripts, and test execution. 

  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. 

  • Critical thinking and team player. 

  • Possess contagious passion about quality. 

  • Good English level.  

  • EU work permission.
