Amplifi is the supply-side platform of Dentsu International (DI), comprising three pillars: Investment Management, Media Trading (including Media Owner Services and Principal Buying), and Content (Original Partnerships & Entertainment), all underpinned by Supply-Side Management practices. The Amplifi platform encompasses all media buying and investment management, trading, and the following: The Story Lab, dentsu programmatic, and dentsu out-of-home businesses.
Amplifi is the investment management arm of Dentsu International across all media channels and entertainment content. The proposition is based on delivering value for all in everything we do. Key Accountabilities:
Work closely with Investment Managers in the Global Investment team, local markets, and third-party auditors to ensure commercial delivery for existing clients and new business pitches.
Fulfilling responsibilities requires:
Understanding of Dentsu, Client, and Auditor methodologies on key clients.
Supporting daily workload, internal communication, and external markets ensures the timely delivery of reporting.
Participating and contributing in internal and auditor meetings.
Support investment managers in establishing close working relations with internal stakeholders (account team and business leads) and local teams (account and Amplifi).
Being culturally sensitive when working with local teams and being open to experiencing an international work culture.
Learning from local markets, identifying similarities and differences between trading and buying practices across borders, and sharing best practices across markets.
Seeking feedback on performance from line managers and peers.
Showing engagement, curiosity and willingness to learn.
Being very accurate and precise in all reporting work requires a good level of analytical and numerical skills, as well as strong attention to detail.
Having a strong command of Excel, being able to construct formulas, work with links, debug technical issues, and work across several templates simultaneously.
Having a good understanding of media metrics (GRP, planning vs. buying audience, rating, CPM, CPE, CPA, CTR, CPC, insertion, panels, cpSpot, rebates, AVB, inflation, etc.).
Communicating clearly and effectively with line managers and local teams – getting your point across, being straightforward and honest.
Raising issues to line managers immediately and asking questions when faced with ambiguity or doubt.
Sharing any good practices and learning with the team, suggesting recommendations and improvements where it felt appropriate.
Managing workflow upwards as well as downwards effectively and efficiently.
Assuming responsibility for ensuring the complete accuracy of all reporting deliverables.
You have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience in the advertising/media industry (agency/client/auditor), preferably at a global level, and are interested in the world of communication.
Experience in media performance tracking and delivery for international clients, and a solid understanding of the basic principles of how media is bought and traded
Good command of Excel and other Office software
Proven ability to coordinate projects involving numerous stakeholders
Experience in line managing an executive. Preferential but not essential.
