Software Engineer for hardware-related Developments (f/m/d)
We're searching for our site in Berlin an Engineer Robotics and Engineering for Software, process and machine development for manufacturing applications.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for implementation of software for manufacturing devices.
- Responsible for development of quality check and measurement devices, often using image processing.
- Responsible for testing and commissioning of manufacturing devices, as well as initial setup and operation at production plant.
- Responsible for documentation of development and test results according to quality regulations.
- Responsible for support of production department for troubleshooting and fault recovery.
- Close cooperation with hardware departments OptoMech and Electronic in developing complex manufacturing devices.
- This position may require travel to other sites to support production, setting up new production devices or implementation of new systems.
Your profile:
Education:
- University degree in the field of automation/robotics/computer science
Years and Type of Experience:
- Professional experience with comparable tasks appreciated.
Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:
- Good knowledge in development of object-oriented software
- Knowledge in automation, robotics applications and industrial interfaces appreciated.
- Knowledge in development of image processing applications appreciated.
- Problem solving, tactical thinking and time management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new topics and tasks.
- Proficiency in German and English technical language
