Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Dental Receptionist to join our Miami Beach team. The ideal candidate will bring strong dental knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.  Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of dental office experience
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
  • Strong insurance verification and benefits knowledge
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under pressure
  • Skilled in answering phones, scheduling, and assisting patients with appointments
  • Excellent customer service, professionalism, and teamwork
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a commitment to exceptional patient care
Job Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and provide a welcoming experience
  • Answer incoming calls and assist with scheduling, confirmations, and patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance eligibility and accurately enter information into the system
  • Collect co-pays and ensure accurate patient check-in/check-out procedures
  • Support providers and office manager with daily administrative tasks
  • Maintain an organized and efficient front office work-flow

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service; acknowledge, smile and greet patients upon arrival/dismissal
  • Respond to patient questions and or concerns according to DCA Policies
  • Answering Telephones
  • Scheduling Appointments
  • Maintaining Appointment Book
  • Confirming Appointments
  • Follow up on no shows/cancellation of Appointments
  • Register Patients on sign in sheet
  • Post charges and payments to patient accounts
  • Checking voicemail on a daily basis
  • Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a dental office required
  • Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO)
  • Experience answering telephone
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills
  • Must be bilingual (English & Spanish)
