We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Dentist to join our reputable dental clinic located in South Bend, IN.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, prevent, and treat teeth and tissue problems.
- Remove decay, fill cavities, examine x-rays, place protective plastic sealants on children’s teeth, and repair fractured teeth.
- Perform corrective surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum diseases.
- Extract teeth and make models and measurements for dentures to replace missing teeth.
- Provide instruction on diet, brushing, flossing, use of fluorides, and aspects of dental care.
- Administer anesthetics and write prescriptions for antibiotics and other medications.
- Place and restore an implant/implants and do cosmetic procedures such as veneers.
- Use a variety of equipment, including x-ray machines, drills, and instruments such a mouth mirrors, probes, forceps, brushes, and scalpels.
- Wear masks, gloves, and safety glasses to protect themselves and patients from infectious diseases.
- Supervise other clinical and non-clinical staff as needed in performing treatment
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS: Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).
LICENSE REQUIREMENT: Active Indiana State Dental License

What you'll do
- The Associate Dentist will diagnose, prevent, and treat dental issues, perform surgeries, and provide patient education on dental care. They will also supervise clinical and non-clinical staff as needed.
