What will your typical day look like?   

In this role, you will engage directly with high profile public and private sector clients on their most important and challenging business issues - addressing and solving their priority asset and operational related problems. You will also: 

• Work on some of the most inspiring private and public sector programs including Defence, Government, Automotive, Energy and Resources 
• Work with a high performing team with a strong commitment to excellence in pursuit of helping our clients drive profitability and performance 
• Draw on Deloitte’s unique capabilities in Structured Problem Solving, Design thinking, Digital, Data Analytics, Deloitte Access Economics and experience from our global consulting network 
• Involve regular travel, gaining valuable consulting experience, sharing and collaborating with onsite management and other senior inhouse consultants 
• Lead and coordinate project workstream delivery with a focus on outcomes and impact, shaping and guiding junior staff  

About the team 

In the asset team, we work with our clients across the breadth of an Asset Life Cycle, with core support areas being: 

• Capital project development 
• Operational readiness of assets into operations 
• Effective maintenance execution 
• Redefinition of their supply chains, and 
• General management of their supporting enterprise 

We bring our clients on the journey, helping them accelerate and unlock strategic and commercial value as their partners in innovation-led transformation. We can see where they need to go, and work with them to design and implement the path forward, powered by the best emerging and proven technology and analytical insights, to help them get there.

In response to strong client demand for our services, we have several roles for outstanding Senior Consultant level practitioners with extensive Asset Management and transformation experience in energy, resources and public infrastructure. 

You are someone with:  

• These opportunities will suit candidates who have worked in Industry at Line Leadership or Senior Engineering levels, with a strong focus on Maintenance and Asset Management practices 
• Experience in the use of structured problem-solving approaches / frameworks 
• Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients 
• Strong and adaptable facilitation and communications skills 
• Experience conducting analysis (desktop research, data analysis, reviewing documents etc.) and synthesising into digestible outputs (e.g. reports) 
• Curiosity to learn and proactivity to bring forward ideas 
• Experience leading and mentoring teams with a passion to develop others as well as self
