Work you will do

With an understanding of strategic industry issues and client-specific business challenges, complemented by an extensive technology practice, Deloitte brings market-leading testing services and solutions to our clients. Cultivate an intelligent automation–based quality engineering mindset by leveraging a state-of-the-art technology tool set.

• Design and implement test plans and test cases.
• Troubleshoot issues in systems under test.
• Ability to create scripts with the relevant tools. 
• Develop, manage, and execute automated UI or API functional tests.
• Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
• Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within an Agile process.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience as a Manual or Automation Test Engineer.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Javascript, Groovy, Ruby, Python).
• Experience with web application testing or mobile testing.
• Experience with version control, defect tracking, and test management tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, etc.).
• Good understand of and experience on any of the following:
  • • Selenium Webdriver
    • Webdriverio
    • Playwright
    • Cypress
    • Karate Framework
    • SQL
• Experience on API testing (Postman, JMeter).
• Excellent in spoken and written communication.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following key experience and capabilities:

• UI or API Test Automation (3-6 yrs. experience with Selenium Webdriver / Webdriverio / Playwright / Cypress / Karate Framework).
• Writing and Executing Test Cases (Manual and Automated).
• Defect Reporting and Management (JIRA etc.).
• Experience in API Testing (Postman / JMeter).
• Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Tools (Azure or AWS, Dockers).
• Configuring and managing test environments and test data.
• Experience with Continuous Integration processes. 
• Performance testing using Jmeter.
• Practical knowledge related to such tools as SpecFlow and Cucumber.
• SOAP UI, RestAssured, Katalon Studio UI/ API.
• ISTQB Certification.
