The Senior Solutions Automation Engineer plays a key role in enabling scalable, efficient, and consistent security operations through automation. This position partners closely with security operations, engineering, and platform teams to design, implement, and maintain automated incident response workflows across a diverse security technology ecosystem.


Operating within an enterprise environment, the Senior Solutions Automation Engineer is responsible for developing integrations, implementing automated workflows, and owning the technical execution of SOAR-based solutions. The role requires strong software engineering fundamentals, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver production-grade automation. 


Hybrid 3x/week in Tampa, FL


In this role, you’ll get to:



  • Design, build, and maintain hands-on integrations between the SOAR platform and enterprise systems, including SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, vulnerability management, email security, and cloud platforms

  • Develop and maintain production-quality code, services, and automation workflows using Python

  • Implement and evolve automated workflows and playbooks that support security operations use cases, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and maintainability

  • Partner with security analysts and domain experts to gather requirements and implement solutions, without serving as an on-call incident responder or SOC analyst

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across SOAR workflows, integrations, and supporting services, owning problems through to resolution

  • Contribute to architectural and design decisions related to automation frameworks, integration patterns, and platform capabilities

  • Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities for new integrations, features, and platform enhancements

  • Apply software engineering best practices, including version control, code review, testing, and documentation

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and implementation guides to support ongoing operations and future development

  • Continuously assess and improve automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational consistency


To be successful in this role, you’ll need to:



  • Strong hands-on software engineering experience with Python and/or Java

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation-heavy systems or integration platforms in production environments

  • Solid understanding of DevOps and/or SRE practices, including CI/CD, automation, monitoring, and operational ownership

  • Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows

  • Experience building and integrating APIs, services, and event-driven workflows across distributed systems

  • Ability to work effectively with security and non-security subject matter experts to translate requirements into technical implementations

  • Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguous, engineering-driven environments

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, platform, and security teams


Statutory Pay Disclosure


The anticipated base salary range for this role is $140,000- $178,000 per annum  + stock options + benefits.  Actual compensation may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. 


ITAR Compliance
