Senior Full Stack Engineer

What you’ll achieve

As the Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will take a key role in the design and development of our next-generation Radiology Information System (RIS). Our product enables radiology departments across the globe to manage scheduling, imaging workflows, reporting, and integration with hospital systems effectively.

You will:

• Implement features and address defects based on inputs and requirements provided by the product team.
• Develop automated tests to ensure the stability, scalability, and high-quality standards of the software.
• Ensure quality and smooth delivery of code changes with industry best practices as pull requests-workflow and comprehensive continuous integration.
• Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure well-designed and accurate solutions.
• Stay informed on the latest advancements in software engineering and the healthcare domain, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Over time, become a technical expert in the healthcare and hospital imaging domain, including standards like FHIR and DICOM.

Essential Requirementss

• 3+ years of professional experience with backend frameworks in the Java ecosystem, such as Quarkus or similar technologies.
• Profound experience with persistence technologies, such as JPA/Hibernate, and relational databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Proficiency with modern web development using SPA frameworks like React, Angular or Vue.
• Emphasis on software quality through automated testing and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with tools like Git, Maven, and Linux.
• Hands-on experience in agile development teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work independently, with a strong drive to achieve goals and continuously enhance skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Desirable Requirements

• Proficiency in containerization with familiarity in Kubernetes and/or Docker for deployments.
• Experience with microservice architecture, design patterns, cloud-native principles, and software engineering best practices.
• German language knowledge
