About the opportunity

The Fulfillment Specialist II independently manages day-to-day execution of Dayforce’s time clock hardware fulfillment for an assigned order/case queue. This role ensures accurate order processing, inventory alignment, compliant domestic and international shipping documentation, and timely communication between internal teams, customers, carriers, and 3PL partners. The Fulfillment Specialist II routinely resolves standard fulfillment exceptions (carrier delays, address corrections, documentation gaps, returns processing) using defined SOPs, escalating only non-standard, high-risk, or policy-impact issues. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, process-focused, and comfortable operating in a structured, high-volume environment with audit-ready documentation requirements.

What you'll get to do

  • Order Processing & Inventory Coordination
  • Review, validate, and process time clock hardware orders through internal systems and 3PL/warehouse portals, including ship-to/bill-to, SKU, quantities, ship method, and required reference fields (PO/site identifiers where applicable).
  • Validate inventory availability and manage standard backorder workflows (ship complete/partial shipments per policy), communicating ETAs using approved t Prepare international shipment data accurately and consistently across systems and documents (e.g., HS codes provided by controlled master data/reference lists, item descriptions, declared values, required consignee information).
  • Time Clock Hardware Controls: Serial Number & Asset Tracking
  • Capture and verify serial numbers (or asset identifiers) for shipped devices when applicable, ensuring accurate association to the customer/site/order/case.
  • Validate order completeness for common time clock bundles (e.g., device + power supply + mounting kit + cables/accessories) using defined BOM/kit rules.
  • Generate return labels and coordinate reverse logistics workflows aligned to SOP (RMA validation, correct return routing, return instructions to customer).
  • Documentation, Trackers & Billing Support
  • Maintain detailed order histories and audit-ready records (shipment confirmations, tracking, proof of delivery where available, return receipt/disposition, exception notes).
  • Salesforce Case Management & Customer Communication
  • Receive, track, and manage hardware fulfillment and returns through Salesforce from intake to closure.
  • Coordinate daily with 3PL contacts for order release, shipment confirmation, inventory questions, and standard exception handling.

Skills and experience we value

  • 2–4+ years in logistics, fulfillment, shipping coordination, order management, or related operations (hardware/tech fulfillment preferred).
  • Working knowledge of international shipping workflows and documentation requirements; able to execute using controlled references and SOPs.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve routine carrier/3PL exceptions independently and document actions clearly.
  • Strong Excel skills (filters, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, pivot tables; reconciliation/exception tracking).
  • Experience using case/ticketing tools (Salesforce preferred) and collaborating cross-functionally.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication, including concise customer updates.
  • Ability to work remotely on U.S. Eastern Time-aligned schedules with 2–4 hours overlap with U.S. teams.
