About the Opportunity


The Channel Partner Manager will drive pipeline growth and revenue generation by developing, managing, and expanding relationships with channel partners, particularly financial institutions, accountants, and bookkeepers in Canada. This role focuses on recruiting new partners, nurturing existing ones, and collaborating closely to execute strategies that generate leads and sales. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of partner ecosystems with experience Canadian SMB space.

What you'll get to do

Program Development:

  • Define and develop the program structure for the Channels, including approach and requirements for across various functions
  • Standup and establish the Channel Partner program for Accountant/Bookkeepers, and reboot financial institutions program

Partner Recruitment and Development

  • Identify and onboard new partners – including accountants & bookkeepers, regional banks, and credit unions, ITSMs, and associations – to expand the partner ecosystem.
  • Develop and execute regional partner enablement programs to equip partners with the tools and knowledge needed for effective selling.
  • Develop joint business plans with partners, establishing strategies for lead generation and sales growth.

Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with partners, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Conduct regular business reviews to assess partner performance, set growth targets, and identify new opportunities.
  • Address partner issues and conflicts promptly, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.

Pipeline Generation and Sales Growth

  • Collaborate with partners on go-to-market strategies, co-branded marketing campaigns, and lead generation efforts.
  • Monitor partner sales activity to ensure they meet sales targets and report on performance metrics.
  • Support partners in deal closing, attending sales meetings, and providing product expertise when necessary.

Partner Enablement and Training

  • Deliver partner training and onboarding sessions on company products, value proposition, and target market insights.
  • Contextualize and update enablement materials, including sales playbooks, product guides, and demo scripts.
  • Facilitate continuous learning programs to maintain high partner proficiency and certification.

Collaboration with Internal Teams

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategies and support partner initiatives.
  • Provide partner feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Execute co-marketing initiatives to boost demand and brand awareness in collaboration with the marketing team.

Skills and Experience we value

  • 5+ years of experience in channel partner management, business development, or sales, with expertise in financial services or accounting ecosystems.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets through channel partnerships.
  • Experience working with Canadian SMB clients, with an understanding of their specific business needs.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and partner management software.

Le gestionnaire du réseau de partenaires a pour mandat de favoriser la croissance de l’entonnoir de vente et la génération de revenus en se concentrant sur l’établissement, la gestion et le développement des relations avec les partenaires du réseau, en particulier avec les établissements financiers, ainsi que les comptables et commis comptables canadiens. Le titulaire de ce poste mise sur le recrutement de nouveaux partenaires, le maintien des relations existantes et une collaboration étroite afin de mettre en œuvre des stratégies permettant de générer des pistes et des ventes. Le candidat idéal démontre une compréhension approfondie des écosystèmes de partenaires et possède une expérience auprès des clients du segment des PME au Canada.

Responsabilités

Développement du programme

  • Définir et établir la structure du programme pour les différents réseaux, y compris en ce qui concerne l’approche et les exigences applicables aux divers secteurs fonctionnels.
  • Mettre sur pied le programme destiné aux comptables et aux commis comptables, et relancer le programme destiné aux établissements financiers.

Recrutement et gestion des partenaires

  • Repérer et intégrer de nouveaux partenaires – notamment des comptables et commis comptables, des établissements bancaires régionaux, des coopératives d’épargne et de crédit, des gestionnaires de services de TI et des associations – afin d’élargir l’écosystème de partenaires.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des programmes régionaux de soutien aux partenaires afin de leur fournir les outils et les connaissances dont ils ont besoin pour générer efficacement des ventes.
  • Mettre au point un plan d’affaires conjoint avec les partenaires visant à établir des stratégies de génération de pistes et de croissance des ventes.

Gestion des relations

  • Établir et maintenir des relations solides et durables avec les partenaires, en agissant à titre de point de contact principal.
  • Procéder à des examens réguliers des activités afin d’évaluer le rendement des partenaires, de fixer des objectifs de croissance et de déceler de nouvelles occasions.
  • Gérer rapidement les problèmes et les conflits liés aux partenaires, pour s’assurer de leur résolution opportune et efficace.

Génération de pistes et croissance des ventes

  • Collaborer avec les partenaires au déploiement de stratégies de mise en marché, de campagnes de marketing comarquées et d’efforts de génération de pistes de vente.
  • Contrôler les activités de vente des partenaires pour s’assurer que ceux-ci atteignent les objectifs de vente, et rendre compte des mesures de performance.
  • Soutenir les partenaires relativement à la conclusion des ententes en participant aux réunions de vente et en fournissant une expertise quant aux produits si nécessaire.

Soutien aux partenaires et formation

  • Offrir aux partenaires des séances de formation et d’intégration portant sur les produits, la proposition de valeur et le marché cible de l’entreprise.
  • Contextualiser et mettre à jour les documents de soutien, y compris les carnets de route relatifs aux ventes, les guides concernant les produits et les scripts de démonstration.
  • Proposer des programmes de formation continue afin de maintenir un niveau élevé de compétence et de certification chez les partenaires.

Collaboration avec les équipes internes

  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec les équipes des ventes, du marketing et des produits afin d’harmoniser les stratégies et de soutenir les initiatives relatives aux partenaires.
  • Transmettre la rétroaction des partenaires afin d’éclairer le développement des produits et les stratégies de marketing.
  • Exécuter des initiatives de comarquage pour stimuler la demande et la notoriété de la marque en collaboration avec l’équipe du marketing.

Expérience et compétences recherchées

  • Minimum de cinq années d’expérience en gestion de réseaux de partenaires, en prospection de clientèle ou en ventes, doublé d’une expertise dans le secteur des services financiers ou des écosystèmes comptables
  • Bilingue en français et en anglais.
  • Aptitude confirmée à dépasser les objectifs de vente grâce à l’établissement de réseaux de partenaires
  • Expérience de travail auprès de clients du secteur des PME au Canada et compréhension de leurs besoins commerciaux particuliers
  • Solides compétences en matière d’établissement de relations, de négociation et de planification stratégique
  • Excellentes aptitudes en matière de communication et de collaboration
  • Maîtrise des outils de gestion des relations avec la clientèle (p. ex., Salesforce) et des logiciels de gestion des partenaires
