Job DetailsJob Location: Portland, OR 97202Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 SalaryTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DaySummary: Applies known scientific and mathematical discoveries to the solution of wireless systems designs through the use of mathematical tools of differential equations, calculus and statistics and commonly understood physical systems approaches. As a System Design Professional, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems and solutions to meet the needs of our clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems are robust, scalable, and meet the performance requirements.     Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A     Essential Functions: Designs various radio and microwave, In-building and Wireless network systems.   Supports sales and service teams and clients by providing technical expertise, both in person and by telephone.   Create Statements of work, system optimization procedures and Acceptance Test Procedures for proof of performance criteria.   Constructs System drawings using Microsoft Office Visio and /or AutoCAD.   Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that the systems are robust, scalable, and meet performance requirements.   Develop system requirements and specifications based on customer needs.   Create and maintain system architecture and design documents.   Develop and execute system integration plans and test procedures.   Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of the systems.   Ensure that the systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.   Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.   Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.   Other duties as assigned.     Other Functions and requirements: Tasks that may or may not be performed by the person in this job.   5+ years of experience in system design and development • Strong knowledge of system architecture and design principles • Experience with developing complex systems using various technologies • Familiarity with hardware and software integration • Ability to develop system requirements and specifications • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations • Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers   QualificationsEducation and/or Experience: bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year college or university specializing in RF Engineering; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.   Licenses, Certifications: Valid Driver’s license, FCC General class license Preferred.
