ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The senior manager must be able to work successfully with cross-functional teams and have lead teams across departments. The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive.

• Write SQL queries against data warehouses containing clinical operations and medical claims data to support analytic requests and delivery of summarized outcomes and insights

• Develop summary level reporting to assist operations leaders in monitoring quality performance and understanding areas of success or opportunity 

• Leverage reporting and supporting data to monitor quality performance and identifying insights around clinical, demographic and industry trends and contribution to quality outcomes

• Partner with stakeholders to define technical and business requirements for reporting and analytic requests

• Design reporting and communication materials to facilitate consistent interpretation of program performance to Davita IKC leadership and external stakeholders

• Develop executive level communications, typically done in PowerPoint, and adapt communication for relevant internal stakeholders (clinical, finance, operations)

• Guide stakeholders on development of KPIs and goals

• Manage a team of analysts and ensure that deadlines are met as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, public health, health informatics, analytics, math, statistics, computer science, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience with business/financial analysis; healthcare preferred

• 1-3 years of experience managing teams

• 1 year experience with SQL and querying relational databases

• Extensive Excel experience with data manipulation and pivot tables

• Extensive experience developing presentations in PowerPoint

• Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools, preferred
