Single-plaintiff matters (discrimination/harassment/retaliation/wrongful termination/failure to accommodate)
Wage-and-hour litigation, including class actions and PAGA (preferred, not required)
Expect to work across the litigation lifecycle: pleadings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, mediation/settlement, trial preparation (mirrors the way DWT describes current associate work in your examples)
What “good” looks like (practical outcomes)
Can run day-to-day components of matters with partner guidance
Strong writing: can produce crisp, persuasive motions and discovery papers
Deposition-ready: prepares outlines, defends/takes depositions effectively
