Our team members are the ambassadors of our business and we are on the look out for a passionate Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team!
You will be working as part of the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and across UK and European companies whilst adhering to robust financial controls.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day processing of supplier invoices and payments while maintaining positive relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role includes ensuring invoices are accurately processed and paid within agreed terms, completing supplier statement reconciliations, scanning invoices, and producing local and foreign currency payment files. You will assist with the implementation of automated accounts payable technologies, review aged creditor reports, prepare standard monthly and ad-hoc reporting, and respond to queries via phone, email, or in person

About you:
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced payables environment
- Highly numerate and detail oriented
- Be proactive in driving efficiencies and producing new ideas for improved ways of working
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience of EDI processes would be advantageous
- Experience of using Microsoft D365 and Medius is desirable

- The Accounts Payable Clerk will ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments while maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Responsibilities include processing invoices, completing reconciliations, and assisting with automated accounts payable technologies.
