About this role
Job Description:
As a Disbursements Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices assigned to you. Additionally, you may reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process a high volume of invoices in an accurate and timely manner using Workday.
- Ensuring correct coding of invoices to the relevant spend category, cost center and approver.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
- Promptly and professionally addressing any discrepancies or issues with suppliers regarding invoices or payments.
- Aid in troubleshooting invoices pending in queue.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive supplier relationships.
Education, Experience, Required Skills:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. Familiarity with Workday is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounts payable procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must have the ability to utilize reasoning and common sense to resolve problems.
