<ul>
<li>Manage end-to-end release cadences for both DataHub Core (OSS) and our Managed Cloud</li>
<li>Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, QA, DevOps, documentation, and customer success</li>
<li>Define Quality Gates: Establish the "Go/No-Go" criteria that ensure every release is rock-solid</li>
<li>Build Automation: Design the dashboards and runbooks that turn manual release chaos into a streamlined machine</li>
<li>Risk Mitigation: Identify breaking changes and dependency conflicts before they hit production</li>
<li>Serve as the central point of contact for all release-related questions and updates</li>
<li>Facilitate release retrospectives and drive continuous improvement initiatives</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>5+ years of experience in technical program management or release management roles</li>
<li>Proven track record of managing complex software releases in fast-paced startup environments</li>
<li>Deep understanding of software development lifecycles, CI/CD practices, and DevOps principles</li>
<li>Experience with both open-source and enterprise software release models is a strong plus</li>
<li>Strong technical background with ability to understand architecture, dependencies, and technical trade-offs</li>
<li>Excellent project management skills with proficiency in tools like Jira, Linear, or similar</li>
<li>Outstanding communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences</li>
<li>Experience working with cross timezone & cross-functional teams</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience with data platforms, metadata management, or data catalog platforms is a strong plus</li>
<li>Background in managing releases for platforms with complex architectures</li>
<li>Experience with GitHub workflows, release automation, and version management</li>
<li>Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native deployment models</li>
<li>Previous involvement in open-source communities and understanding of OSS governance</li>
<li>Knowledge of SaaS operations, single tenant & multi-tenant architectures, and staged rollout strategies</li>
<li>Familiarity with observability tools, incident management, and on-call processes</li>
<li>Background in Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint planning</li>
