As part of our TEE team, you’ll tackle the most challenging technical problems, collaborate directly with Engineering and Product to refine and evolve our platform, and mentor teams worldwide, elevating the technical bar at every level.

What You’ll Do



  • Develop deep technical expertise, continuously learn as the product evolves, and become the go-to authority in your domain.

  • Investigate complex escalations, lead high-stakes technical calls, and drive solutions for our most critical customer challenges with urgency and precision.

  • Run engaging office hours, deliver impactful learning sessions, and mentor the Global Support Engineering team (GSE), ensuring they’re equipped to handle any challenge.

  • Partner with Engineering and Product to proactively identify gaps, drive meaningful improvements, and advocate for customers in shaping the evolution of our platform.

  • Become the global expert on Alerting & Monitoring within the Technical Solutions team, supporting TSEs and customers in building reliable, actionable monitors.

  • Own investigations into alert-related escalations,  identifying root causes across metric behavior, configuration edge cases, and backend evaluation logic.

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to flag inconsistent monitor behavior, propose enhancements, and ensure alignment with user expectations.

  • Develop scalable diagnostics, reusable response strategies, and field-ready resources to shorten time to resolution.

  • Lead enablement efforts, from async training to live office hours, ensuring that Solutions teams worldwide understand Datadog’s alerting system.

  • Experienced in debugging alert misfires, delayed or missing notifications, noisy monitors, and complex alerting logic involving scopes, groups, and recovery thresholds.

  • Comfortable interpreting how data aggregation, gaps, or late points affect alert evaluation and incident response.

  • Confident navigating APIs, tagging strategies, downtime configurations, and best practices for scalable alerting.

  • Passionate about helping customers reduce alert fatigue while increasing visibility into meaningful signals.


Bonus points



  • Computer Science or Engineering majors

  • Experienced in using Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, or similar softwares.

  • Familiar with Datadog’s alerting system, from monitor types (metric, composite, anomaly, logs, SLO, etc.) to thresholds, evaluation windows, and notification rules.
