About this role

Overview

Southwestern Vermont Medical Center (SVMC), a member hospital of Dartmouth Health, is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a team of established anesthesiologists and anesthesiologist assistants. 

Qualifications

  • Current or eligible for Vermont Medical License
  • Current or eligible for ABMS Board Certification (to be obtained within 5 years)
  • Active hospital staff membership

Responsibilities

  • Engaged Anesthesiology team which is highly invested in teamwork and optimal patient outcomes
  • Manageable caseload with no cardiac or trauma cases
  • Diverse cases to include endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics and urology
  • $532,027 salary
  • Incentive compensation may be available in addition to base salary.  This position includes a comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, retirement, paid time off and CME support).  A sign-on bonus and relocation stipend may also be available, subject to eligibility.
  • Eligible for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) through 501 (c)(3) nonprofit status
  • 12 weeks of vacation, Biannual CME allowance of $6,000 and malpractice insurance with tail coverage
