Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center – Lebanon, NH

 

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Orthopaedics is seeking a BE/BC Orthopaedic Hand Surgeon to join our practice in the beautiful Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and Vermont.  Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the system’s central clinical hub and Academic Medical Center, is located immediately adjacent to the bustling college town of Hanover, NH. Hanover is home to the world-renowned Dartmouth College and Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine.

 

The preferred candidate will be responsible for providing expert care in Orthopaedics, with a particular emphasis on hand and wrist surgery. You will join an established, multidisciplinary team with ample opportunities for support and mentorship. This position is based primarily at our academic medical center, with opportunities for outreach and collaboration across our health system in New Hampshire and Vermont. You will be an active participant in the academic mission of the department, including opportunities for protected research time for interested candidates. Appointment via the Geisel School of Medicine may be Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor commensurate with the successful candidate’s experience.

Required Licensure/Certifications

  • Hand Surgery or Upper Extremity Fellowship-Trained BC/BE Orthopaedic Surgeon
  • Successful completion or eligibility to complete the Subspecialty Certificate in Surgery of the Hand (formerly CAQ Hand)
  • Must obtain and maintain a medical license in the state of New Hampshire
