Job Title: Dispatch Clerk
Location: Garden City, GA
Salary: Starting at $18-20/hr, depending on experience
Hours: Part-Time, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Dispatch Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be computer literate and able to efficiently manage dispatch operations. Previous drayage experience is helpful but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage daily dispatch operations
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal staff
- Maintain accurate records and logs in the computer system
- Monitor schedules and ensure timely deliveries
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Proficient with computers and basic software applications
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Drayage experience is a plus
