General Description: 

The scheduler is responsible for building & maintaining all maintenance schedules.  Schedules are activity-based, resource-levelled, prioritized, and logically tied.

Basic Roles & Responsibilities

• Fully understand the basics of scheduling 
• Schedule mechanics and understanding of activities/tasks, setting priorities, defining logic ties, milestones, durations, resources, etc.
• Create and manage baselines.
• Identify critical path and optimize. 
• Resource levelling based on client priority
• Lead Schedule meetings with Asset Leadership, Advisors, Maintenance Team Lead, Planners, and any others to ensure an optimized, effective, and efficient schedule is delivered and transparent to all stakeholders. 
• Advanced P6 Primavera skill required.

  2. The ability to develop an optimal WBS structure with appropriate milestones to manage execution and highlight key risks and opportunities.
  3. Developing a fully Integrated schedule, with activities from all sources of execution during the Event or Project.
  4. Experience in multiple schedule integration.
  5. Developing a schedule with appropriate logic ties that reflect the constraints in the field and provide a realistic view of the sequence of work.
  6. Levelling of resources based on an established priority scheme and personnel capacity.
  7. Development and understanding of critical path, near critical path, and critical mass jobs for the event, and monitoring the impacts of total float throughout execution.
  8. Setting of Baselines and progressing the schedule on a predetermined basis with input from the execution organization.
• Must demonstrate 5+ years of Scheduling Experience in Primavera P6. Primavera Scheduling experience preferred, managing execution schedules for multiple Major Turnarounds or Project Events, and/or a portfolio of Major Maintenance events or smaller Capital Projects.
