About this role

Overview

Responsible for administering and stewarding vendor contracts and service orders to ensure uninterrupted delivery of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company controls and procedures. This role supports Production Operations by managing contract activity within SAP, coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders, and providing contract status visibility to management. The position operates with moderate supervision and requires strong contract administration knowledge and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Create and amend Service Requests for Production Operations contract service providers within the SAP system.
  • Create and manage Service Entries for Production Operations contract agreements in SAP.
  • Liaise daily with Contractor Representatives to resolve issues related to purchase orders, amendments, and invoice payments.
  • Provide contract status reports to management for review and decision-making.
  • Ensure effective contract administration through accurate records management, compliance with procurement policies, controls, OIMS, and business requirements.
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable as needed to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing.
  • Coordinate with field personnel to ensure contractor performance evaluations (ongoing and end-of-service) are completed and documented for future contract consideration.
  • Collaborate with Contract Advisors and Representatives to identify contract performance, efficiency, and improvement opportunities.
  • Work closely with Procurement on contract renewals, awards, resolutions, and follow-up action items.

Qualifications

  • 3+ yrs. of Contract Administrator experience required.
  • SAP experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytical tools.
  • Experience working within a large corporation or complex organizational environment.
  • Experience supporting developing businesses and Landowner Companies (LANCOs).
  • Experience engaging with contractors, including within developing or multi-cultural environments.
  • Strong understanding of business ethics, compliance, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of procurement roles, responsibilities, and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with contract terms and conditions.
  • Maintenance & Reliability (M&R) process knowledge preferred.
  • Budget reporting and analysis skills.
  • Strong written communication, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • High standard of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) awareness; promotes safety culture.
  • Strong organizational, planning, execution, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, agility and fit for duty.
