Our Blood gas instrument ABL800FLEX is one of the most reliable Blood gas instruments in the market and has been that for more than 10 years. It is also still one of the most complicated technologies that contain advanced optical systems, potentiometric measurements, and electronic and mechanical challenges.

The department and your responsibilities

We’re looking for a PTA Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Operations team in a permanent, full-time position on the day shift. You’ll play a key role in supporting the daily production of our ABL800 FLEX blood gas analyzer - one of the most advanced and reliable instruments in the market.

You’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team, working closely with technicians and engineers to keep our production line running smoothly and efficiently.

The PTA Engineer plays a key role in ensuring daily quality standards are met on the production line, and handle deviations (such as NCRs and CAPAs), provide hands-on technical support, and lead efforts to improve processes.

You’ll be responsible for driving improvements to support quality issue; both related to design changes and optimizing equipment.

Furthermore, you are responsible for:

  • Risk assessment, PPRA, and auditing, IVDR / MDR

  • Securing daily deliveries, including supplier changes, obsolete tasks, etc.

  • Conduct systematic problem solving, identification of root cause / countermeasure

  • Assisting to solve various technical problems, both in mechanics, electronics and chemistry.

  • Ensuring that we comply to and improve our KPIs, both alone and in collaboration with R&D, GSC and other parties involved

Preferred Qualifications

We’re looking for someone with a degree in engineering—whether your background is in production, machinery, electronics, chemistry, or a related field.

In addition, you bring:

  • 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

  • Solid knowledge of GMP regulations and experience with document management in a regulated environment.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels through professionalism and expertise.

  • Proven experience working with LEAN principles and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you can work independently, maintain a clear overview, and approach tasks with a structured and analytical mindset. You think logically and can quickly identify the most effective solutions to complex problems.

Fluency in both Danish and English, written and spoken, is essential for this position.
