The Order Management Lead is responsible for supporting a team of Sales Order Specialists responsible for handling customer inquiries, processing global quotes and sales orders, and fostering strong customer relationships. This role ensures Cepheid customers receive consistent, exceptional service experience. The position requires sound judgment in tactical decision-making and a strong focus on driving employee engagement and empowerment.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Business Operations and is part of the Order Management located in Sao Paulo and will be fully remote.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Drive Team Performance & Compliance: Positively impact service, quality, and timeliness goals; maintain training programs for professionalism and ensure adherence to complaint management requirements.
• Optimize Processes & Solve Issues: Apply DBS or other process improvement methodologies to enhance workflows and use analytical skills to resolve technical problems and procedural conflicts.
• Leverage Data & Provide Feedback: Build and utilize timely reporting (metrics, KPIs, Bowlers) to drive corrective actions and collaborate with the manager to deliver feedback on employee performance and customer interactions.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Compliance & Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance for sales order administration and experience with EDI (GHX preferred).
• Systems & Tools Proficiency: Expert in ERP and CRM platforms (SAP and Salesforce.com preferred)
• Leadership & Talent Development: Skills in assessing talent, hiring, performance feedback, mentoring, and professional development.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with different levels of leaders across the organization.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years' experience in relevant work experience.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (additional languages would be an advantage – French, Spanish)
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP, CRM and EDI systems.
