About this role

In this role, what you will do:

EHS Compliance and Management

  • Implement and continuously improve the company’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) management system to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
  • Conduct regular safety risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop corrective actions.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence.
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness.
  • Support regulatory inspections, corporate audits, and customer assessments to maintain compliance.

Process Safety/ Chemical Management

  • Participate in process safety reviews, support safety evaluations for new processes to ensure safe design and operation of processes.
  • Establish and maintain chemical management systems covering procurement, storage, usage, transportation, and disposal in compliance with regulations and company policies.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
  • 7–10 years of EHS experience in biopharmaceutical or chemical industries. Familiarity with process safety methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA).
  • Knowledge of Chinese EHS regulations and international standards (ISO14001, ISO45001).Hands-on experience in chemical management and explosion protection.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken); experience in multinational companies preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Safety Engineer or international EHS certifications
  • Project management experience or involvement in EHS support for plant construction/expansion projects.
