Perform general warehouse duties including loading and unloading product using forklift, shipping/receiving, picking, processing, stocking of orders, and other materials.
§ Systematically shelve product for customer orders as indicated on packaging schedule and customer order invoices
§ Load and unload trucks as needed using forklifts or pallet jacks
§ Process paperwork for all product orders, ingredients, and supplies received into the plant
§ Properly fill out paperwork and load sheets
§ Distribute supplies and ingredient receiving paperwork to the proper supervisors or other DFA employees
§ Distribute supplies to various areas of the production facility as needed in a safe and sanitary manner
§ Maintain inventory of all product, ingredients, and supplies as needed
§ Communicate with packaging department and supervisors if orders are incorrect or need adjusting
§ Pull orders from racks and load trucks
§ Check to ensure loads are correct and match customer invoices before loading trucks
§ Perform general housekeeping duties in warehouse and cold box as needed and as directed
§ Interact with outside vendors, truck drivers, and customers in a professional manner
§ Actively participate to improve the 5s score within department and other areas of the facility
§ Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment
§ Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)

§ 1 year minimum experience in a warehouse (shipping environment preferred but not required)
§ Certification and/or License – Must be able to obtain DFA's fork lift, pallet jack and stand-up lift certification
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
§ Must be flexible enough to allow for changes in schedule due to production and warehouse demands
§ Must be able to learn the use of handheld scanners and SAP program
§ Must be bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
