About this role

Kemps has an immediate job opening for a well-versed standardizer to perform an array of functions including maintaining, breaking down and setting up equipment and machinery, while troubleshooting and resolving basic to moderate operating issues. The standardizer will be responsible for performing all procedures, figuring, and testing required to standardize products. The standardizer will assist in making cultured products by operating HTST #2, filling out necessary paperwork, and completing PASS sheets as well as by operating the CIP system. The standardizer will follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), communicate effectively with all departments, and meet daily deadlines.

THIS POSITION PAYS:

$30.27/hr. starting

  • At 12 months will move up to $32.27

SCHEDULE: Sunday-Thursday, 1pm start time, 8 hour shifts

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
  • Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
  • May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
