About this role

 

T.G. Lee Dairy has an immediate job opening for adaptable general laborers to perform all-purpose duties, which may include unloading materials and ingredients for plant or warehouse use, transferring and storing raw and finished products and operating onsite equipment and machinery in a safe manner. General laborers will be required to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

OUR GENERAL LABORER FOR THIS POSITION CAN MAKE UP TO:

  • $19.50 per hour

 

SCHEDULE:

 

  • Second (2nd) shift:  5:00 pm to 5:00 am.  4 day work week with rotating days off.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience preferred but not required.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. 
  • Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
  • Must be able to work in a wet environment. 
  • May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.

  • Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays.
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal).
