About this role

GENERAL PURPOSE

Oversee the operation of mix rooms by working from schedules and formulas to utilize production’s schedule to plan the sequence of mix needed to flow from tanks.

 

2pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday

or

10:00pm - 6:30am Monday - Friday

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Collect required samples needed for Quality Assurance testing

· Exercise care and follow all sanitary process procedures associated with the pumping of mix

· Maintain working knowledge related to ingredient mix for batching purposes

· Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately

· Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues

· Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

· The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.

Qualifications

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Production or general work experience preferred

· Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Must be able to read, write and speak Englis
