Location: Bowie, MD; hybrid 

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, set project parameters, and implement procedures to achieve objectives, including complex contracting applications. 

  • Review project proposals to determine timelines, budgets, staffing needs, and resource allocation for all phases. 

  • Develop work plans and staffing strategies; coordinate recruitment or assignment of project personnel as needed. 

  • Lead project meetings to outline plans, assign responsibilities, and define scope of authority. 

  • Coordinate project activities with regulatory agencies and manage permitting requirements. 

  • Monitor progress through status reports, adjust schedules as needed, and maintain accurate documentation (e.g., AIA forms, task lists, milestones). 

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; provide regular status updates and project reviews. 

  • Prepare detailed project reports for management and clients. 

  • Ensure accuracy of cost forecasts and timely project completion while maintaining customer satisfaction. 

  • Investigate and resolve customer concerns, implement corrective actions, and secure project sign-off. 

  • Support contract administration by assisting with sub-contract agreements and required documentation. 

 

Your Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

  • 4–6 years of HVAC Project Management experience. 

  • Experience in HVAC controls; prior hands-on experience as a technician preferred. 

  • Ability to travel up to 25% as required.

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $107,900 to $178,400 in Maryland. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
